A trapezoidal weaving pattern can be made by setting four values: P1 and P2, which are weaving points on the weaving plane, weaving time and dwell time. The welding trajectory shown in the figure above is the result of overlapping the weaving motion and the taught linear trajectory. When a trapezoidal weaving pattern is applied, the weaving motion shifts from P1 to P2 or from P2 to P1, depending on the weaving time and dwell time. Therefore, the weaving period (P1 → P2 → P1 = 1 period) per unit welding distance can vary depending on the target welding speed. For example, if the welding speed is 60 cm/min (=10 mm/sec) and the weaving period is 1 second (weaving time = 0.3 s, dwell time = 0.2 s), weaving makes 1 period every 10 mm, while if the welding speed is 30 cm/min (5 mm/sec), the same weaving period makes 2 periods per 10 mm.

Weaving Point (P1,P2) |
Positions of the two weaving endpoints of the trapezoidal weaving pattern. Enter the positions in the weaving x and y directions based on the welding path. (Unit: mm) For example, to do a symmetrical weaving with a weaving width of 6 mm centered on the welding path, enter P1 (x = 0, y = 3) and P2 (x = 0, y = -3). |

2 |
Weaving Time |
This is the time it takes to move between two weaving endpoints. You can input different times for each, P1 to P2 and P2 to P1. |
|
3 |
Acc/Dec Time |
You can additionally specify acceleration/deceleration time of weaving motion during weaving time. When moving to both weaving end points, if the weaving motion is large or the weaving time is short, the time to converge to the end point position may be long. If you additionally set acceleration/deceleration time at this time, you can reduce vibration when weaving starts at one end point and when the weaving motion reaches the opposite end point. However, the acceleration/deceleration time cannot be input more than 1/2 of the set weaving time. |

Dwell Time |
Sets the dwell time when reaching each endpoint (P1, P2). |
