System Log Backup

System Log Overview

There are three kinds of logs for the robot controller.

Event log

  • System event messages recorded during robot operation.

  • The log size is restricted to 100 MB, and if the size exceeds the limit, it overwrites the oldest log.

  • It usually contains more than 1 month of data, though the duration of the log depends on the kind of task.

Data log

  • Real-time robot control data in milliseconds.

  • Data log logging is activated on the user’s request.

  • The log size is restricted to 1 GB, and if the size exceeds the limit, it overwrites the oldest log.

  • It usually contains the last 1 hour of data.

Fault Log

  • A log is recorded when a fault occurs.

  • It contains the last 1 hour’s system event message, the last 1 minute’s control data, and system status when a fault occurs.

  • The number of fault logs that are able to be saved depends on the free disk size of the controller. If there is not enough disk space, the oldest fault logs are deleted.
