Welding conditions can be set after completing the welding machine settings.
It is possible to create a new welding condition or modify/delete an existing welding condition. In addition, all welding conditions can be checked in a list, and they can be searched and sorted using the filter function.
Welding conditions are composed of basic welding conditions and user-created welding conditions. Existing welding conditions can be used or new welding conditions can be added based on the existing welding conditions.
Basic Welding Condition: Initial welding conditions created by using the items in the Interface Settings. (icon) Perform the welding task with the corresponding condition or duplicate and modify the task using a different name. Deletion is not available. In case of analog welding machines, 4 basic welding conditions are provided.
User-Created Welding Condition: User created welding conditions set using the Basic Welding Settings. Editing, duplicating and deletion are available.
To access the Welding Condition Settings screen, enter the Analog Welding Condition Workcell Item screen. The settings popup can be opened with the Add New (Add New Welding Condition button) or View Welding Condition (button).
The Add New function will load values identical to basic welding conditions, so modify existing settings and save them as a different name.
Add New Welding Condition: Press the Add New Welding Condition button on the bottom of the Welding Condition List to open a popup for adding a new condition. Basic values are applied, therefore, modify the values necessary and save the condition.
View Welding Condition: Press the button in the welding condition list to open the popup window. Press the Edit button to enable the input mode to modify values.
Caution
The basic welding conditions are examples provided for user convenience, therefore, they do not guarantee welding quality when used. Welding quality varies depending on different variables other than welding conditions, such as substrate material, pose and stick-out, and in order to ensure welding quality, it is necessary for a welding expert to make appropriate adjustments.v
