Remote Control Welder (EtherNet/IP) Interface Setting and Normal Operation Check during Communication Failure

If the controller is booted without proper physical communication between the digital welder and robot controller, or if a communication failure occurs between the welder and controller, the TP checks the communication status. Communication status check and normal operation check can be performed from the digital welder setting screen or the real-time welding monitoring window of the Task Writer.

Communication Normal Operation Check

  1. Peripheral → Remote Control Welder Setting → Signal Test Tab → Wire Discharge Check with Forward/Reverse Inching (Entering the Signal Test Tab will reset the EtherNet/IP Communication Interface)

  2. Task Writer → Play Tab → Activate Welding Monitoring Window → Install & Test Tab → Wire Discharge Check with Forward/Reverse Inching (Entering the Install & Test Tab will reset the EtherNet/IP Communication Interface)
