PLC, Robot, Welding Machine EtherNet/IP Setting
Caution
Before implementing the process, set the gateway address of the router as the gateway address corresponding to the IP Address of the digital welding machine. For more details, refer to the following guide.
- Guide File: xxx.pdf
- Modify the IP Address of the PLC.
(Project Tree) Network Configuration→ Undefined Network → Select XBL-EIPT - Enter the PIC IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway.
※Check the Use Tag - Modify the IP Address of the Doosan Robot.
(Project Tree) Network Configuration → Undefined Network → XBL-EIPT(TAG) →P2P 02 → Select EIP Settings
Enter the IP Address of the Doosan robot in Channel 0.※ Doosan robot is registered in Channel 0 as default in the gateway project. The </ If no Doosan robot is present, it is possible to register a Doosan robot with 4) below.
For details about the EDS file of the Doosan robot, refer to the Doosan Robotics website. - EtherNet/IP Network Setting: CASE-1) If the EDS file of the welding machine is present
※ If no EDS file is present, set an EtherNet/IP network with 5.- Register the EDS File of the Welding Machine
- Once registration is complete, find the Device corresponding to the EDS and register it to the EIP. Once registration is complete, enter the IP Address of the welding machine in Channel 1 IP Address.
- Enter the detailed EtherNet/IP information of the Doosan robot.
The parameters of the Doosan robot are as follows:
- I/O Type : Exclusive Owner
- Connection Type : Point to Point
- Parameter : T20 RPI : 50000. 02T RPI : 50000
- Timeout : RPT x 4
- Local Tag of Channel 0: G_DR_IN
- Local Tag of Channel 1: G_DR_OUT - Enter the detailed EtherNet/IP information of the welding machine.
For the Local Tag of the Welding Machine, enter G_MACHINE_IN for input and G_MACHINE_OUT for output. For detailed EtherNet/IP settings using EDS, refer to the datasheet from the manufacturer.
- Register the EDS File of the Welding Machine
- EtherNet/IP Network Setting: CASE-1) If the EDS file of the welding machine is not present
※If no EDS file is present, the following information is required. Make sure to check in advance.
- I/O Type
- Connection type
- Parameter : T20 Data Size, 02T Data Size, Config Instance, Output Assembly Instance, Input Assembly Instance
This example uses a welding machine from EWM.- Select a Generic EtherNet/IP Module from the EDS Information.
Select generic EtherNet/IP module ver 1.1 and enter the IP address of the welding machine. - Enter the detailed EtherNet/IP network setting information of the digital welding machine.
The following settings are for the welding machine from EWM - Select G_MACHINE_IN and G_MACHINE_OUT as the Local Tag.
- Select a Generic EtherNet/IP Module from the EDS Information.
