Real-Time Adjustment

It is possible to adjust the welding condition and weaving condition during welding using the Real-Time Adjustment popup. However, adjustment of some or all item conditions is limited in the following cases:

  • Simulation Settings (Welding Section Settings): In Simulation mode, where the welding machine output is limited by the controller, voltage/current item adjustment using the adjustment buttons (+/-) buttons is disabled. Offset-y and offset-z can be adjusted.
  • Arc-On (Motion in the Welding Section Settings): If the Arc-On setting is disabled (OFF), the motion becomes a non-welding motion, so the adjustment buttons (+/-) are disabled for all items. Offset-y and offset-z can be adjusted.
  • If a weaving condition is not selected (Weaving Condition not selected in the Welding Section Settings): The adjustment buttons (+/-) are disabled for offset-y and offset-z, which can be set in the weaving condition.
  • In motion sections where the welding condition has been changed (the welding condition has been changed according to the motion within the welding section), the welding condition of the motion setting is applied and the adjustment buttons (+/-) are disabled for all items.
  • In sections other than the main section for the welding condition (* start gas discharge section - start section, end section - end gas discharge section: refer to Welding Condition Settings → Welding Procedure Settings), the adjustment buttons (+/-) are disabled for all items.

Case 1. Simulation is selected and Arc-On=ON is set, and the tool is in the main welding section.

Case 2. Simulation is selected and Arc-On=ON is set, and the weaving condition is not designated.

Note

  • Pressing the +/- buttons change the adjustment target right away, but the sensing value changes over time. This is related to Welding Condition → Welding Procedure Settings → Change Welding Condition Time (in seconds). The target displayed on the actual controller changes over the Change Welding Condition Time (in seconds) when the +/- buttons are pressed, so adjust the value of the corresponding item.
  • If multiple welding sections (Start Welding - End Welding) with different welding/weaving conditions are present in a single task, the welding condition information and welding condition monitoring values (target value, adjustment target value) of the real-time adjustment popup will be updated to the initial target value when entering a new welding section.
